Hello,
I will be back working on mod-xslt2 in an extremely short
time!!
In the mean time, I just committed a new, updated version
in the TLA archive containing bug fixes from the Debian package
(thanks to Riccardo Setti, Kjetil Kjernsmo and those who submitted
patches and bugs against the debian package). Those changes
should mainly address build issues.
In the next few weeks, I'd like to:
- release the current snapshot as a new release, work
that has never been done. (it contained major build
fixes for mac os X and other bsd*)
- fix outstanding bugs (proxy problems, host header, others?)
- complete the support for apache 2.2 - right now, it compiles
but it seems like there are still major issues.
- work on features required, promised, or that simply have
never been implemented.
- release mod-xslt under apache license.
In the last year or so, I had different outages for various
reasons and couldn't allocate any time on mod-xslt... even
if I would have liked to do so. I really do believe I lost
many of your emails, some of which were extremely important,
and I really do need to thank those who in a way or another
helped in keeping the ml a bit alive, answering questions,
or providing patches...
What I'd really like to do ASAP is try to:
- put together a roadmap with things to do, and expected
release dates...
- put together a list of patches that never made into
mod-xslt2, or bugfixes...
- find a good way for all to work together! I really do
apologize for disappearing for such a long time,
but I do believe mod-xslt now needs everyone's help.
- add an automatic mechanism to send updates regarding
mod-xslt commits on the mailing list.
So, if you have any suggestion, any mail you sent me I never
replied to, any feature you would really like to see in mod-xslt,
any question you never got an answer for, this is the right
time to speek!!
Sorry again, but
hope to hear from you!
Carlo
