I ran into a minor but nasty bug while trying to install a new version of
mod_perl (2.0.1)
The mod_perl test suite complained about a wrong server-version string,
expecting Apache/2.0.54 but getting mod-xslt/1.3.8.
The error message:
[Sat Aug 06 09:33:20 2005] [notice] mod-xslt/1.3.8 Apache/2.0.54 (Linux/SUSE)
world domination series/2.0 DAV/2 SVN/1.2.0 mod_ssl/2.0.54 OpenSSL/0.9.7d
PHP/4.3.10 mod_python/3.1.3 Python/2.3.4 mod_ruby/1.2.2 mod_perl/2.0.1
Perl/v5.8.5 configured -- resuming normal operations
Since mod-xslt is the _only_ module that prepends its id-string to the
server-version string - all others append their id,
imo it's up to mod-xslt to change this ugly behaviour.
greetings
