Hi!
If compiling from source is better than using pre-compiled depends on the
situation, the wide-spread use of packages do have a reason :-)
Anyway, I just wanted to draw your (xslt developers) attention to a glitch I
found with your software. How or if you want to solve it is up to you :-)
Eventually I'll have my own compiled version, but you could think about
changing this behavior to make it easier for future users that find the
software useless because of the signature.

xml2-config is part of libxml2-dev package
xslt-config is part of libxslt-dev package
I'm not familiar with the packages, since I am not linux user.
Building software from sources always better than precompiled package
